Millions of people search for dream meanings every month. Most tools online are either generic, culturally disconnected, or overly mechanical. For Caribbean and diaspora communities in particular, dreams are spiritually serious and are connected to warnings, guidance, and ancestral insight.

Our solution
Dream Decoder AI builds a structured dream symbol engine that:
- Encodes Jamaican and Caribbean dream symbols, scripture-based themes, and spiritual patterns.
- Matches user dreams to this database using smart keyword and phrase detection.
- Generates full-paragraph interpretations in warm, pastoral language, not cold machine text.
- Continuously improves as new symbols, meanings, and user feedback are added.
How Dream Decoder AI works
The current version is a web app accessed through Jamaican True Stories. Users receive three free interpretations, then are invited into a paid tier for deeper use.
1. User submits a dream
A visitor types their full dream in natural language (for example: “I was walking through a dark road and a black dog kept following me…”).
2. Symbol engine parses key elements
Our engine detects key symbols (dog, darkness, road, pursuit, etc.) and matches them against a curated Google Sheets–based symbol dictionary built from Jamaican spiritual traditions and biblical themes.
3. AI interpreter composes the message
Using those matches, the system composes a clear interpretation paragraph and optional action points (pray, fast, avoid, prepare, give thanks, etc.), written in friendly, encouraging language.
4. Delivery, feedback & learning
The user receives the interpretation instantly on-screen. Future versions will capture feedback, store anonymized dreams, and refine symbol weights to improve accuracy over time.

Who we serve
The first users come from an existing audience that already follows Jamaican True Stories content around dreams, spirituality, and Jamaican folklore.
Growing from content into product
Before launching the app, the founder built an audience through storytelling videos about dreams and spirituality. One dream interpretation video alone has crossed 10M+ views on TikTok, validating strong organic demand in this niche.

We started by listening: reading thousands of comments, questions, and real dream stories from viewers who requested consistent, trustworthy interpretations.

Dream Decoder AI is currently built as a web application using Python (Flask) and a structured Google Sheets symbol store. The next phase is to migrate and scale on modern cloud infrastructure, including managed databases, logging, and AI tooling.
