You take a breath and step forward.
The air grows colder with each step. The stone beneath your feet pulses like something alive. Your shadow stretches unnaturally, crawling along the walls like it’s trying to escape you.
A faint hum vibrates in your ears. Not mechanical spiritual. Like an ancient chant from another realm.
Then you hear her voice again. Soft. Close.
“You belong to mi now…”
A doorway of red light appears ahead. Something… or someone… waits inside.
You’re no longer sure you’re in the world of the living.
